pychu [463]
The equation of a cricle passing through (h,h) and with radius r is
(x-h)^2+(y-k)^2=r^2
so

cente ris (-6,7) and passing through (4,-2)
(x-(-6))^2+(y-7)^2=r^2
(x+6)^2+(y-7)^2=r^2
subsitute (4,-2) to find r^2

(4+6)^2+(-2-7)^2=r^2
(10)^2+(-9)^2=r^2
100+81=r^2
181=r^2

so it is

(x+6)^2+(y-7)^2=181
A is the answer

Answer:

Use compatible numbers that are close to the actual numbers

Choose 36 for 35 3/4 and 6 for 5 7/8 because the divide evenly.

Step-by-step explanation:

Compatible numbers are numbers that are close to the actual values of a particular number. They make estimating easier when yo udo the different operations.

We choose 36 for 35 3/4 because 36 is closer to its value that 34. Conveniently, 5 7/8 is closer to 6 than 5, and they divide evenly. So a best estimate for the number of rows Holly can make would be:

36/6 = 6 rows.

Leah's parents are planning to give her a gift and want to wrap it first. The gift is in a rectangular box with a height of 3 in
jekas [21]
128 square inches of wrapping paper, since the width would be the Z Axis, That would make a Square 3X4= 12, 12X2= 24. 3X7= 21X4= 104, 104+24=128? That's what I figured. Can you send me a photo of the problem?

An identification code is to consist of 2 letters followed by 3 digits. how many different codes are possible if repetition is p
Vedmedyk [2.9K]
I like the 'question mark' at the end:

26 letters (English), 10 digits (0,1,...9)

26*26*10*10*10 = 676000

Now, this was for LLDDD (Letter Letter Digit Digit Digit)

It seems this is the order they want. Other wise, one should multiply by all the combinations in the order: LDLDD, DLLDD, etc ... (10 combinations), but again it seems they want this LLDDD

So 676000
