Piaget proposed a child development theory. The theory explains the term ego-centrism. Ego-centrism is a term in which a child does not understand the other perspective. Children do not understand that their perspective is different and another person's perspective is different. It creates a cognitive bias about the thinking perspective children think that the same perspective other people share as they have the perspective but they do not understand that other people do have their cognitive perspective. One of the other psychologists describes that ego-centrism is related to higher self-consciousness and self-awareness.
