Embargoes limit world trade. An embargo is defined as a ban or limit on the trade from one region or the supplying a certain type of good. They affect the entire world as an embargo on a certain region can cut off that area from economic opportunities. This not only economically cuts off the area but culturally too because there is no interaction with other companies or countries. Additionally, if a specific good is cut off, then it makes it difficult for areas where that natural resource is not found to get its necessities.
