I would immediately tell the nail salon owner and chase after the theft. Reason: This is a crime and theft it is illegal.

I might not speak up because maybe I'm occupied for the moment or I don't want to get my self involved.

  I might explain to the theft why it is not ok to do this or maybe I could secretly call the police.
