A primary reason is because peoples actions and emotional control don’t fully develop u til the age of 25. The Prefrontal Cortex is what is responsible for behavior and doesn’t mature until as said above, 25. This means drivers around 15-24 are more likely to get in accidents because the haven’t matured their behavioral control. Again, this is only ONE example out of many, and there are far many more reasons why this statistic may be.
