What technique that requires the use of glue, gum Arabic,or shellac

shellac is commonly used in nail salons, it's a different kind of coating that lasts longer than than regularly used nail polish. but to answer your question, my guess would be printmaking because they do use shellac and i know for a fact that they use glue. hope i helped :)
