PLEASEEE HURRY!!! Suffrage increased in America, especially between the first and second time Andrew Jackson ran for president.

Answer:

The Jacksonians believed that voting rights should be extended to all white men. By the end of the 1820s, attitudes and state laws had shifted in favor of universal white male suffrage and by 1856 all requirements to own property and nearly all requirements to pay taxes had been dropped. As president, Andrew Jackson strengthened the power of the presidency, defended the Union, gained new respect for the United States in foreign affairs and pushed the country toward democracy.

I hope this helps!!

Anon25 [30]

Answer:

Racism

Explanation:

Many are still racist today, although segregation and its policies have been abolished. No more segregated bathrooms exist, nor segregated water fountains. The only form of segregation that still exists is racial discrimination towards people of color, and even that is in decline.
