You would need 15 boards bc 24.6666 divided by 1.75 is 14.09 and I got those decimal numbers from finding the decimal number of the 24 and 3/4 and the 1 and 3/4

Answer:

15 strips.

Step-by-step explanation:

The length of a kitchen wall = 24\frac{2}{3} feet

                                               = \frac{74}{3} feet

A border will be placed along the wall of the kitchen.

The lenth of the border in strips =  1\frac{3}{4} feet = \frac{7}{4}

Therefore to find the number of strips of border are needed

= \frac{74}{3} ÷ \frac{7}{4}

= \frac{74}{3} × \frac{4}{7}

= \frac{296}{21}

= 14\frac{2}{21}

≈  15 strips

15 strips of border are needed.

Few Questions! NEED HELP PLEASE , CONFUSED!!
Firdavs [7]
Multiples of 11 between 1 and 30:

11, 22

So there are 2 numbers that are multiples of 11 in the bin. There are a total of 30 cards, so the probability is written as 2/30. Or we can simplify it to 1/15.

For the next question:

There are a total of 3 + 8 = 11 balls in the bag.

The probability of choosing a red ball is 3/11.

The probability of choosing a green ball is 8/11.

Multiply the three fractions:

3/11 * 3/11 * 8/11 = 72/1331

So the probability is 72/1331.

For the last question:

A standard deck of cards has 52 cards.

There are 4 queens and 4 kings in the deck.

Probability of choosing a queen is 4/52, and the probability of choosing a king AFTER you already chose a queen is 4/51.

Multiply the two fractions:

4/52 * 4/51 = 16/2652

So the probability is 16/2652 or 4/663

Answer:

E. x² + 11x - 42 = 0

Step-by-step explanation:

let the square sides be x

A = bh = (x + 3 + 3)(x + 2 + 3) = 72

(x + 6)(x + 5) = 72

x² + 11x + 30 = 72

x² + 11x - 42 = 0

A sequence is defined below.
AysviL [449]
We have,
f (0) = 7
f (1) = 2f (1-1)-3 = 2×7-3 = 11
f (2) = 2f (2-1)-3 = 2×11-3 = 22 - 3 = 19
Hence 19 is the third no. in the sequence
