Answer:

You can’t add 3x with 2x because to get term to the other side of the equal sign, you need to do the inverse (opposite) of the number. Since 3x is positive (basically with a + in the front) you SUBTRACT 3x for it to get to the other side. Which will get u -1x or just -x.

Convert the polar representation of this complex number into its standard form z=4(cos150+isin150).
Katen [24]

Answer:

B

Step-by-step explanation:

Using the exact values

cos150° = - cos30° = - \frac{\sqrt{3} }{2}

sin150° = sin30° = \frac{1}{2}

Given

z = 4(cos150° + isin150° ) , substitute values

  = 4(- \frac{\sqrt{3} }{2} +  \frac{1}{2}i )

  = - 2\sqrt{3} + 2i , that is

(- 2\sqrt{3}, 2 ) → B

Which relation is a function?
sergejj [24]

To determine which relation is a function, we can perform something called the vertical line test. We cover the graph in repeating vertical lines and if one vertical line connects with more than one point of the relation, the relation is not a function.

The relation in the bottom right corner is the only relation that passes the vertical line test.

On a coordinate plane, a dashed straight line has a positive slope and goes through (negative 3, 1) and (0, 3). Everything to th
miss Akunina [59]

Answer:

y> \frac{2}{3}x+3

Step-by-step explanation:

we have the points

(-3,1) and (0,3)

step 1

Find the slope m of the line

The formula to calculate the slope between two points is equal to

m=\frac{y2-y1}{x2-x1}

substitute the values

m=\frac{3-1}{0+3}

m=\frac{2}{3}

step 2

Find the equation of the line in slope intercept form

y=mx+b

we have

m=\frac{2}{3}

b=3 ----> the y-intercept is the point (0,3)

substitute the values

y=\frac{2}{3}x+3

step 3

Find the equation of the inequality

we know that

The slope is positive

Everything to the left of the line is shaded ( The inequality is of the form y > ax+b or y ≥ ax+b)

Is a dashed line (The inequality is of the form y > ax+ b or y < ax+b)

therefore

The equation of the inequality is of the form y > ax+b

The inequality is

y> \frac{2}{3}x+3

Hunter-Best [27]

Answer:

61 km/s

Step-by-step explanation:

First, you count the number of hours he travelled: 22

Next, divide the distance he travelled, 1342, by the time he travelled, 22, \frac{1342}{22} = 61
