The option that most directly contributed to the conflict referred to in the excerpt is "trade relationships."

This is because during this period, the Native Americans and the Europeans particularly, the French, engaged in the fur trade.

However, during this trade relation, some Native American tribes contracted the disease from the French, which led to many deaths among them.

As a result, some French felt that God was making justice by killing the Native Americans for their criminal activities during their trade relations.

Hence, in this case, the option that most directly contributed to the conflict referred to in the excerpt is "trade relationships."

The available options are the following:

A. cultural misunderstandings

B. racial discrimination

C. political disagreements

D. trade relationships

Summarize joseph stalin's rise to power and how his control expanded. why was it significant?
RSB [31]
Stalin first became secretary of the Communist party. He then used his power to eliminate his competitors. He rose to power as dictator after Lenin's death. He used terror to control and once he had total control, he kept a tight of society and reigned and worked to revamp the economy.

This was significant because under Stalin, the Soviet Union transformed into an industrial and military superpower, but  because he ruled in terror, millions of his citizens died during his brutal reign.

Which of the following must be true if an individual's next best alternative to going to the
Taya2010 [7]

Answer:

e. The opportunity cost of going to the movies is being better prepared for the exam

Explanation:

In Economics, opportunity cost also known as the alternative forgone, can be defined as the value, profit or benefits given up by an individual or organization in order to choose or acquire something deemed significant at the time.

Simply stated, it is the cost of not enjoying the benefits, profits or value associated with the alternative forgone or best alternative choice available.

Hence, the opportunity cost of a choice is the benefits that could be derived from another choice using the same amount of resources.

In this scenario, an individual's next best alternative to going to the movies is studying for a calculus exam. Therefore, the opportunity cost of going to the movies (alternative forgone) is being better prepared for the exam.
