• Roman arches: This is an architectural form that was used in controlling the pressure of the weight of a building. This ensures that buildings do not collapse. Arches with circular tops were used by Romans and the arches were made of stone.

• Columns, domes, and vaulted ceilings: These are the structures that are used in enclosing the space on a roof. These were used by Romans when buildings were constructed and as a feature of architecture during the Roman Empire.

• Jul-ian calendar: This is a calendar that was introduced by the Romans. The calendar has a normal year that has 365 days while every four years was a leap year and this had 366 days.
