Which of the following is part of the
AlladinOne [14]

Answer:

I would pick B, but don't be surprised if it is A

Explanation:

Givens

A  Create resolution

B  Edit and proofread

C Write Climax

I hope that there is not another given.

Argument

Persuasive writing doesn't really have a climax.

Nor does it really need a resolution, but some persuasive writing does have a resolution.

What is common to all writing is editing and proofreading

Rina8888 [55]

Answer:

The sentence that paraphrases the source information correctly is B. The number of American mothers working outside the home has  doubled since 1975 (Schlosser 4).

Explanation:

A paraphrase consists of rewording something that was said by someone else. That is, we say the exact same thing but with different words. We must remember to give due credit to the original speaker or writer of the passage we are paraphrasing.

In the case we are studying here, we can easily eliminate A, C, and D. They are not attempting to paraphrase, but to quote. Quotes maintain the original words and structures used by the speaker/author. In letter D, they have tried to pretend to be paraphrasing by not using quotation marks and by changing the spelling of numbers. Still, the sentences are the same, nothing has changed.

The only option that truly paraphrases the source information is letter D. It offers the same facts with fewer and different words. It mentions the original author, but does not copy his words. Thus, we can safely choose letter B as our answer.

Try to recall the last time you saw or heard a video or audio recording of yourself speaking. What did you like about the way yo
sertanlavr [38]

Answer:

Oh gosh, I had to listen to an audio recording of me doing a speech for my English class to make sure I got it all so this is the perfect time for me to answer this!

What I liked about that way I presented myself is that I was actually able to get all my points across, and in the right order, without going away from the script to much.

What I didn't like for one was my voice (lol) so if I could rerecord that but have someone else speaking for me who sounds more confident and less like me that would be great. Another thing I didn't like was that I sounded nervous, so my points didn't come across as well as they did on paper.

Improvements I would make is actually practicing before diving headfirst into recording, so I can hopefully make they come across stronger. I would also ahead of time research a bit more than I did, and add more facts to the actual debate.

I hope this is a good answer to your questions><
