Price of spoiled wheat=

\\ \sf\longmapsto 35000\times \dfrac{1}{7}

\\ \sf\longmapsto 5000

  • Good wheat cost price=35000-5000=Rs 30000

He sold good wheat at a gain of 10%

\\ \sf\longmapsto Gain=\dfrac{10}{100}\times 30000

\\ \sf\longmapsto Gain=3000

Now

\\ \sf\longmapsto Sold\:Price=30000+3000=\boxed{\bf{33000}}

<h3>______________________</h3>

  • He sold spoiled wheat at a loss of 25%

\\ \sf\longmapsto Loss=\dfrac{25}{100}\times 5000

\\ \sf\longmapsto 1250

Now

\\ \sf\longmapsto Sold\: Price=5000-1250=\boxed{\bf{3750}}

<h3>______________________</h3>

Total SP:-33000+3750=36750

  • He got a gain

\\ \sf\longmapsto Gain\%=\dfrac{36750-35000}{35000}\times 100

\\ \sf\longmapsto Gain\%=\dfrac{1750}{350}

\\ \sf\longmapsto Gain\%=5\%

Price of spoiled wheat

=  > 35000 \times  \frac{1}{7}

=  > 5000

wheat not spoiled cost price = 35000 - 5000 = Rs. 30000

He sold good wheat at a gain of 10%

=  > gain =  \frac{10}{100}  \times 30000

=  > 3000

Sold price = 30000 + 3000 = 33000

He sold spoiled wheat at a loss of 25%

loss =  \frac{25}{100}  \times 5000

= 1250

Sold price = 5000 - 1250 = 3750

Total SP = 33000 + 3750 = 36750

Its a gain.

gain\% =  \frac{36750 - 35000}{35000}

gain\% =  \frac{1750}{350}

gain\ = 5\%

Determine the equation of the line with slope 5 that passes through the point M(1, 2).
Nezavi [6.7K]
You're already given the slope, so the first step you must take is to find the y-intercept. To do this, you substitute the values of the coordinate M into y = 5x + c, with the x value substituting x and the y value substituting y. This gives us:
2 = (5 × 1) + c
2 = 5 + c
- 5
-3 = c

So now you know that the y-intercept is -3, you can see that your final answer must be the first option, y = 5x - 3.

I hope this helps!
