Are you so petrified of riding on roller coasters that you have never ridden on one? What you may not realize is that roller coa

sters are energizing. You are missing out on a world of fun. If you really want to ride on a roller coaster, you can overcome your fear by just getting on one.
The seat that you sit in can make a world of difference on how you experience a roller coaster ride. Select your seat carefully. If you sit at the back of train, you will feel as if you are going faster. The motion involved with whipping around curves can throw you around a bit more too. If you choose to sit at the very front of the train, you will feel as if you are the only passenger on the roller coaster. The front of the train is nice because the ride feels smoother while gliding along the track.
Keeping your eyes open makes the ride more sensational. During the climb to the top of the first drop, sit back and enjoy the scenery; you will be amazed at the breathtaking view. As you plunge down the track and twist around curves, keep your eyes open so that you can see what's coming next along the track. If you are on a roller coaster with loops and if loops scare you, looking down at your lap might help, but loops are the best part. So, try to keep your eyes open if you can during this part of the ride.
The next time you are at an amusement park, do not be the person who watches everyone's belongings. Instead, get in line and hop on a roller coaster with your friends. When the ride is over, you will want to line up to ride the roller coaster again.

Which sentence is the best to add at the end of the introductory paragraph?
A.
Expect to go through turns that make you lean sideways in the roller coaster.
B.
Taking a supportive friend along for the ride will help you overcome your fear.
C.
Screaming during the ride is okay, and you probably will not be the only one.
D.
There are steps you can try that may help you enjoy a roller coaster ride.

Since it’s the ending of the intro it would be D I think, but it says There instead of these that’s definitely a grammar error.

Effectus [21]

The correct answer to which logical fallacy appears in the passage "If I let you turn in your assignment late, then you won't understand the importance of deadlines. Then you won't be able to get into college and get a good job" is when the speaker states the second sentence, following the previous one with the connector "then", which expresses continuity in time, <em>consequence, "after that"</em>. So, the reader can infer that the second sentence is a natural consequence of the first one, something that would happen subsequently naturally, which configures a logical fallacy.

A logical fallacy is <em>the wrong use of reasoning, a flaw in the structure of a deductive argument which invalids the argument.</em> A fallacy usually <em>seems better than it really is </em>and some of them are committed intentionally to manipulate. Fallacies <em>intend to mislead in order to make false inferences seem real.</em>

<em>Nothing can lead the speaker to deduct that if a person doesn't understand the importance of a deadline, it would be a following natural consequence that this same person would be unable to get into college or get a good job.</em> What would determine if a person is able to get into college are <em>several other skill parameters and circumstances</em>. Not understanding the importance of a deadline <em>doesn't lead one to fail the attempt of getting into college</em>, nor it determines if a person will or will not get a good job.
