His famous inaugural speech gave hope to millions of Americans that have been deprived of their money food and happiness. He made himself appeal to the typical person by sounding like a normal civilian during his speech. FDR first addressed the problems of the country than stated that he was going to create thousands of jobs to kill the Depression and restore the economy. Finally he made people realize that money isn't everything and people will always have their family's and other sentimental values.
