Bill, a manager at Publix has to make the weekly work schedule. He schedules each employee for either a day shift (8Am-5Pm), and

evening shift (3Pm-11Pm) or a night shift (11pm-7Pm). He is supposed to assign the night shirt equally to all employees. Bill develops a relationship with Sherrie, a new employee and gives her only the day shift, and also weekends off. (which ethics are involved?)

Answer:

Explanation: Least Common Multiplier of

(8Pm - 5Pm),

( 3Pm - 11Pm)

(11Pm - 7Pm):

- 32m 2/2 p 8A - 5p

Find least  common multiplier of

(8Pm - 5Pm),

( 3Pm - 11Pm)

(11Pm - 7Pm):

The LCM of a, b is the smallest multiplier that is divisible by both a and b

Factor of 8Am - 5Pm: m (8A - 5p

Factor (3pm - 11pm) (11pm - 7pm): - 2/5 m 2 p/ 2

Multiply each factor with the highest power:

-2/5 x (8A - 5P . m /2 x p/2

Simplify - 32m /2 p /2 ( 8A - 5p)

what must you consider when determining the efficiency of an algorithm? select two choices. group of answer choices the amount o
ozzi

If an algorithm's resource consumption, often referred to as computational cost, is at or below a certain threshold, it is said to be efficient. Generally speaking, "acceptable" indicates that it will operate on a machine that is available in a fair amount of time or space, usually based on the size of the input.

<h3>Explain about the efficiency of an algorithm?</h3>

Growth requires an understanding of an algorithm's effectiveness. Programmers write code with the future in mind, and efficiency is essential to achieve this. Reducing the number of iterations required to finish your task in relation to the size of the dataset is the goal of efficient algorithm development.

The use of asymptotic analysis can frequently help to solve these issues. As the size of the input increases, asymptotic analysis quantifies an algorithm's effectiveness or the program that implements it.

To express how time-consuming a function is, we use a method called "Big O notation." We use the Big O notation, a language, to describe how time-consuming an algorithm is. It's how we assess the value of several approaches to an issue, and U supports our decision-making.

Which device allows your computer to talk to other computers over a telephone line as well as access the internet?
Sphinxa [80]

This question has 2 answers that I can see.

The first one would be a Dial Up Modem. These devices allow (or allowed, since they're pretty much obsolete) a computer to communicate over the phone lines and access the internet.

The second option for an answer would be a DSL Modem/Router. In a sense, a DSL (Standing for Digital Service Line) is a bit of a predecessor to traditional Dial Up, using a digital telephone line (However not the frequencies used for voice) to connect a computer or set of computers together and to the internet.

Which of the following best explains how the Internet is a fault-tolerant system?
IrinaK [193]

Answer:

A

Explanation:

The Internet is fault-tolerant because cybercriminals can conceal their actions, allowing them the ability to carry out faulty actions without leaving a trace.

This statement is actually the same question I had to answer when in my 2nd year 1st semester in itt.

Briefly describe the importance of thoroughly testing a macro before deployment. What precautions might you take to ensure consi
Shalnov [3]

Answer:

Answered below

Explanation:

A macro or macroinstruction is a programmable pattern which translates a sequence of inputs into output. It is a rule that specifies how a certain input sequence is mapped to a replacement output sequence. Macros makes tasks less repetitive by representing complicated keystrokes, mouse clicks and commands.

By thoroughly testing a macro before deployment, you are able to observe the flow of the macro and also see the result of each action that occurs. This helps to isolate any action that causes an error or produces unwanted results and enable it to be consistent across end user platforms.
