Re-fraction is when the shape of an object shift when put into water. Brian knew how to catch the fish because he knew that the shape of the object shifted so he had to move over and try to catch the fish.

Answer:

When you put something under water, the water seems to bend the shape, so when Brian aims slightly below at an object, he can hit it.

Explanation:

Refraction is the phenomenon of light and radio waves being diverted in passing obliquely through the interface between one medium and another. In fact, Brian is clever and inventive, since he figures out how to catch fish and lure them in with the guts from the previous fish.

cestrela7 [59]

Answer and Explanation:

First, if we understand the meaning of each word, it will be easier to fill in the blanks. Let's take a look:

a. exonerate - clear, absolve, acquit

b. culminate - to reach a climax; to end in something

c. eminent - famous and respected at a certain field

d. persevere - to persist, to keep on, to continue

e. feasible - achievable, likely, practical

Now, let's complete each sentence. Let's also make any necessary changes:

1. I don't know if it is feasible to try to attend both the basketball game and the birthday party tonight. - No changes needed

2. Many of the city's premier artists and eminent businessmen attended the fundraiser. - No changes needed

3. The opening ceremonies of the Olympics culminated in a fantastic fireworks display. - It's best if we use the verb in its past form: culminate --> culminated

4. The football player was exonerated of all charges filed against him. - Let's use the past participle of "exonerate" since the sentence is in the passive voice --> exonerated

5. I admire Mitchell's perseverance despite his obvious physical handicaps. - this sentence needs a noun to complete the blank, so we need to transform "persevere" into a noun --> perseverance
