The match. Then the candle, the wood stove ( using the candle) , finally, the gas lamp, now that you have enough light to see how much gas you are giving to the lamp. It can explode if not used properly. The rest can only flare or go out, so breathe away from their direction, to avoid accidentally blowing out your source of ignition.

The match must be lit first because through it, it is possible to light other objects.

In this situation, you must follow these steps:

  1. Keep the kerosene lamp near you.
  2. Light the match and light the lamp quickly with it.
  3. With the lamplight, locate the oil stove and the woodstove.
  4. Remove a little oil from the stove and throw it on top of the wood, to speed up the process.
  5. Use the lamp flame to light the oil stove.
  6. Use the flame of the oil stove to light the wood that you have soiled with oil.
  7. Use this wood to light the woodstove.
