ifferent about Jack's lifestyle and his future?
He is outside more frequently and has reduced his risk of cardiovascular disease as an adult.

He spends a long time at the computer and has a higher chance of adult obesity.

He has more indoor activities scheduled and will avoid being disabled as an adult.

1. How does transduction work in each of these areas?
Cochlea:

Retina:
Fittoniya [83]

Answer:

Explanation:

Cochlea: Hair cells are the ones that are responsible for transduction from sound vibration to electrical energy and they are located in the inner ear. Vibrations of sound are the ones that cause vibrations in air molecules and they shake up the ear drum. As the eardrum is moving, it's causing bones that are located in the middle ear to vibrate, too. They are further passed to the cochlea.

Retina: is the part of visual system and it contains sensory cells named rod, and the cone cells. In retina, they have a role of converting physical energy in shape of light signals into electrical impulses, which later travel to the brain. Then the adaptable change occurs and it forms a motion of series of molecules which give, as a result, reduction of the photoreceptor.
