Answer:

y = -x + 2

Step-by-step explanation:

for this problem, you need the equation of a line.

the equation for a line -----> y = mx + b

  • m = the slope (\frac{rise}{run})
  • b = the y-intercept of the line

1) b is always the easiest to find! it's always where y = 0. when you look on the graph, you will see that when y = 0, x = 2. that's the y-intercept!

y = mx + 2

2) let's find the slope now! rise is how much the line increases or decreases (up or down), run is how far across the line moves (left to right).

- this line <u>decreases </u> 2 spaces and is moving left 2 spaces

- 2/2 = 1

y = 1x + 2 or y = x +2

3) the final step is seeing if this line is negative or positive. the way you can tell is if it increasing or decreasing. this line is decreasing and you can tell because it starts high in the left corner, and falls in the bottom right.

y = -x + 2

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

Mary bought 1 fish, Ari bought 20 fish, Rodney bought 4 fish, Carissa bought 3 fish, Jacob bought 4 fish, Jack bought 1 fish, Jaleesa bought 2 fish, Andrea bought 5 fish, Geoff bought 1 fish, Becky bought 4 fish, Molly bought 1 fish, David bought 2 fish, Gina bought 7 fish, James bought 1 fish, Anessa bought 2 fish, Ted bought 1 fish, Sean bought 2 fish, Kerri bought 11 fish, Sammy bought 3 fish, Jameson bought 2 fish, Theresa bought 2 fish, Luz bought 2 fish, Tracy bought 4 fish, Jackson bought 5 fish, and Celia bought 7 fish.

Rewrite the numbers

1,20,4,3,4,1,2,5,1,4,1,2,7,1,2,1,2,11,3,2,2,2,4,5,7

1.

a: I can't draw a line plot, but I can tell you some tips.

Set the x as the different numbers that appear in the set

Set the y as the frequency of each number.

b: 2 fish has the highest frequency.

c: Add the terms. 97 is the total fish been bought

d: The outlier is 20 bought fish

2.

a: When making the stem and leaf plot, do it in this format

1| 7,4,3,5,8,4

and so on.

b: the heaviest puppy is 25 and the lightest is 13

so the range is 12

c: 4 puppies weighed at least 20 pounds

3. There are no following values, but for this I would make a box and whisker plot.

4. There is no histogram but it should be relatively easy if you know which aspect of the graph to use.

a: Find the frequency of each bar and add them.

b: the largest number of boxes is the interval that is the largest

c: Use the graph to find it

d: I can't do this without the graph.

Verify that the divergence theorem is true for the vector field f on the region
vladimir2022 [97]
By the divergence theorem,

\displaystyle\iint_{\partial\mathcal E}\mathbf f(x,y,z)\cdot\mathrm d\mathbf S=\iiint_{\mathcal E}\nabla\cdot\mathbf f(x,y,z)\,\mathrm dx\,\mathrm dy\,\mathrm dz

where \partial\mathcal E is the boundary of \mathcal E. We have

\nabla\cdot\mathbf f(x,y,z)=\dfrac{\partial(4x)}{\partial x}+\dfrac{\partial(xy)}{\partial y}+\dfrac{\partial(4xz)}{\partial z}=4+x+4x=5x+4

so the flux is

\displaystyle\int_{z=0}^{z=2}\int_{y=0}^{y=2}\int_{x=0}^{x=2}(5x+4)\,\mathrm dx\,\mathrm dy\,\mathrm dz=72
