Answer:

Studies of the aftermath of the Oklahoma City bombing of April 19th, 1995, indicate that the traumatic event resulted in people seeking to strengthen their bonds with loved ones: Divorce rates went down, and birth rates went up. While tragic, the Oklahoma City bombing provided a fortuitous case study. The attack not only caused death and destruction but created a storm of media coverage covering this “attack on the heartland.” A secondary theme portrayed America's “lost innocence.” The fact that the attack was an act of domestic terrorism took the country by surprise.

Why was Jefferson concerned about the French owning New Orleans and the Louisiana Territory
Y_Kistochka [10]
I believe Jefferson feared that one country will harm United States because France already sold all of their North American territory, and if they were also to sell New Orleans and Louisiana, the new nation won't have a stand against these possible harms.

Through the Louisiana purchase, Jefferson has taken the opportunity to make America larger, even if it meant going against his republican principles of small government (some would say he exceeded his constitutional power by accepting the deal on his own).

It also gave the U.S. control of the Mississippi River and the port city of New Orleans, both of which were used by farmers to ship their crops and get paid.
