Answer: The Bwa make two different types of masks. The first type is made out of wild plant leaves, to represent nature and wilderness. The second type is made out of wood to represent multiple spirits who protect them. The masks all are representative of Dwo, which is the son of the creator spirit.

American Indians of which Southwest tribe created hand-shaped pottery decorated with natural pigments?
Marizza181 [45]
All Native American tribes used natural pigments; the very concept of chemical pigments had not even been invented yet when Indians still roamed free. And all tribes created hand shaped pottery because they had no access to machinery to do it for them. Southwest tribes include: Apache, Comanche, Havasupai, Hopi, Jemez, Kiowa, Lipan, Maricopa, Mohave, Navaho, Paiute, Papago, Panamint, Pecos, Pima, Pueblo, Shoshoni, Soaipuri, Tewa, Ute, Walapai, Yavapai, Yuma and Zuni While all of them produced hand shaped pottery decorated with natural pigments, most did so for their own use within the tribe. The first and perhaps most famous of the tribes to trade heavily in pottery were the Maricopa. Others soon followed the Maricopa example such as the Navaho which became even more famous for their jewelry than their pottery.

Which of the following is the best example of association?
Vlad1618 [11]

Answer:

An ad for peanut butter that shows a happy family eating peanut butter sandwiches together.

Explanation:

The association principle is an advertising technique which includes the association of a product with a certain positive value, which can, but doesn't necessarily have to be connected to the said product. Either way, this technique convinces consumers that there is a connection between a product and a value (e.g. family, love, security, wealth, beauty), making the product more attractive. In the example of the peanut butter ad, we have such a value - a family, enjoying its time together while eating peanut butter. This kind of ad is more likely to get us to buy the advertised brand of peanut butter, than one where, for example, just a logo is shown repeatedly.
