Explain how Newton's Laws of Motion apply to sports activities and amusement parks rides.
gtnhenbr [62]
The use of newton’s laws applies to the game of soccer. newton’s first law states that and object at rest shall remain at rest or in uniform motion in a straight line unless acted upon by an external force. in this case, the object would be a soccer ball. the ball would be at rest on a field until kicked by a player. newton’s second law states that the net force on an object is equal to the object’s mass x acceleration. this applies to soccer in the form of shooting a goal. the greater the force on the ball, the harder it is for the goalie to save the ball in time. newton’s third law states that all forces in the universe occur in equal but oppositely directed pairs. this can relate to heading the ball. if you don’t hit the ball back with your head once contact is made, the ball will push your head back in the opposite direction, causing a smaller force to be directed onto the ball.

Which of the following excerpts illustrates the theme that people are cautious around those who have hurt them?
luda_lava [24]

Answer:

Excerpt II illustrates the theme that people are cautious around those who hurt them because of how people will be on guard and be on the lookout (probably for warning signs of the potential of being hurt again). Excerpt III illustrates the theme that people are cautious around those who hurt them because “in whose limbs there is latent flight” means that they have the ability/capacity to run away if the situation again rises.

How does the stranger’s interaction with Elisa at her garden differ from Henry’s interaction with her at her garden?
Serjik [45]
A long exposition differs from a typical stage direction because a stage direction is usually brief. An exposition, however, goes into more detail. A stage direction also just usually tells the setting or where or what the character is doing, or how the stage looks. An exposition shows history and goes full out on the setting.
