7x - 1 + 6x - 1 = 180

add the x’s, add the numbers

13x - 2 = 180

add 2 to 180

13x = 182

divide 182 by 13

x = 14

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

7x -1 +6x -1 = 180, group like terms

7x+6x -1 -1 = 180, combine like terms

13x -2 = 180, add 2 to both sides

13x -2+2 = 180+2 , solve the additions

13x = 182, divide both sides by 13

13x/13 = 182/13, solve the divisions

x = 14

Writing an equation of a probably given the vertex and focus
White raven [17]

The equation of the vertical parabola in vertex form is written as

y=\frac{1}{4p}(x-h)^2+k

Where (h, k) are the coordinates of the vertex and p is the focal distance.

The directrix of a parabola is a line which every point of the parabola is equally distant to this line and the focus of the parabola. The vertex is located between the focus and the directrix, therefore, the distance between the y-coordinate of the vertex and the directrix represents the focal distance.

p=1-6=-5

Using this value for p and (3, 1) as the vertex, we have our equation

y=-\frac{1}{20}(x-3)^2+1

Stells [14]

Answer:

Its either A or D because its reflection so that cancels out B and C

im not sure if this helps u or not but at lest it cancels out 2 of the options

The reflection of a horizontal line has the same result as a rotation of 90 degrees clockwise.

Step-by-step explanation:

When an image is rotated 90 degrees counterclockwise the shape is still congruent but in a different quadrant. The same is true when an image is reflected across a horizontal line.
