Answer:

1)Biotic-Deer

Abiotic- the weather like heat

2)· Biotic and abiotic are the two essential factors responsible for shaping the ecosystem. The biotic factors refer to all the living beings present in an ecosystem, and the abiotic factors refer to all the non-living components like physical conditions (temperature, pH, humidity, salinity, sunlight, etc.) and chemical agents (different gases and mineral nutrients present in the air, water, soil, etc.)

3)More diversity means better chances of survival. Increased genetic diversity leads to increased chance of species survival. Species with a limited variety of phenotypes and where all members of the species are similar to one another have a smaller chance of coping with environmental variability compared to a species with greater diversity.

4) If a virus where to wipe out the mussel popullation i feel like it wou;dnt affect much considering that its not a primary consumer because all the animals it eats or that eats it has another species to fall back on that would surfice for the absence of the mussels.

5)Large amount of energy is available at the level of Producers. Number of Organisms at the level of producers (First level) is more and hence the availability of energy also will be more at the level of producers.

6)The role of pioneer species in primary succession is to increase the diversity of a habitat after undergoing a disturbance making the soil stable and fertile for other organisms to inhabit. Pioneer species are the first species to inhabit an area after it has undergone ecological succession.

7)(Soil needs to be created)Primary succession takes longer than secondary succession because soil needs to be created. Soil is already present in secondary succession. 5 steps from primary succession to a climax community (after lava cools and forms rock). lichens and erosion help break down the rock to form new soil.

8)Secondary succession follows a major disturbance, such as a fire or a flood. The stages of secondary succession are similar to those of primary succession; however, primary succession always begins on a barren surface, whereas secondary succession begins in environments that already possess soil.

Sorry i will come back and answer this question later when i have some more time but hopefully this helps now! ill edit and finish this later

Contrast an organic compound to an inorganic compound
vodka [1.7K]
There are no truly 'organic' compounds, as they can be synthesized using technology, but in a practical sense, organic compounds tend to have carbon in them, but some inorganic substances contain carbon(limestone).

Is a conduit for the sarcoplasmic reticulum to remove ca2+ from the cytosol?
Oxana [17]
No.
The SR is ordinarily involved in intracellular (cytosolic) calcium *release*, not removal.

SERCA pumps help to control cytosolic calcium levels and calcium uptake, or lack thereof when inhibited e.g. by PLB (phospholamban). Proteins calsequestrin, Triadin, and Junctin work at the ryanodine receptors to help to modulate and control cytosolic calcium levels.

Hope this helps!
