11. Latin American citizens face some problems because of illegal drug trade in their countries. What might they do to escape th
Alina [70]

Latin America is the most dangerous region in the world, and the situation is getting worse, a lot worse. According to a recent World Bank study, over the past two decades nearly every region in the world has grown safer or at least stayed the same, except, that is, Latin America. Latin America holds eight percent of the world’s population but suffers 40 percent of the world’s homicides and 60 percent of the kidnappings. The murder rate in Latin America is 26 per 100,000.  In Europe it is nine.

Of the 50 most murderous cities in the world, 41 are located in Latin America.  Mexico’s Acapulco ranked third, with 113 murders per 100,000 in population, behind the Latin American cities of Caracas, Venezuela, placing second at 134, and San Pedro Sula, Honduras, with 187, winning the dubious honor as the most dangerous city in the world.

What year is shown on this map? how does this relate to the history of Islam?
anyanavicka [17]

The year is 570 CE, it shows how trade routes were really popular when Islam was spreading.

Islam appeared in the 7th century, and in the Muslim religious tradition, the rise of religion happened through Muhammad (better known in Portuguese as Muhammad). The great prophet of Islam was born in AD 570, and for much of his life he worked as a merchant.

Muhammad's life changed when he received a revelation from the angel Gabriel, in what became known in the Muslim religious tradition as the Night of Destiny. Muslims do not worship Muhammad, but they consider him to be the last in a series of prophets who brought the revelation of Allah's message.

Which of the following best describes the Allied position at the Paris Peace Conference?
Ipatiy [6.2K]
It was sort of mixed for each allied power. The US president (Wilson) of the time introduced and proposed they use the new 14 points, and that didn't say punish Germany for their war crimes. Winston Churchill, however, felt the need to punish Germany. Either way, they went with push the 14 points though, and they did. And many countries signed those points but the US. They still managed to punish Germany through those points. The answer is B.
