It's a puzzle. Each letter represents a word and you have to figure out which letter represents each word. Since the word "and" is in every sentence, and every letter sequence contains the letter R, you can assume that R means "and".The 1st and 4th sequence of letters also has the letter W in common and the word "birds". Therefore, W stands for "birds". The second and third sequence has V and "cars" in common. The second and fourth sequence has N and "draws" in common. The first and third sequence have P and L and "paints" and "planes" in common. Without having those letters or words in other sequences, you can't tell which is which. Your first question is about letter Q. Since Q is in the first sequence and the only word we haven't linked up to a letter is "Michelle", Q means "Michelle". Your second question is about the word "paints." Since "paints" can be either P or L, the answer cannot be determined from the info given.

While Tom is a college friend, and Daisy is a second cousin once
Sladkaya [172]

Even though this question has no options, I will provide you with an answer that will most likely be helpful.

Answer:

"Across the courtesy bay the white palaces of fashionable East Egg glittered along the water, and the history of the summer really begins on the evening I drove over there to have dinner with the Tom Buchanans. Daisy was my second cousin once removed, and I'd known Tom in college. And just after the war I spent two days with them in Chicago."

Explanation:

Nick is the narrator in the novel "The Great Gatsby" by F. Scott Fitzgerald. He is, in a way, the link that connects all the characters. Everyone relies on Nick to keep their secrets or to help them achieve their goals.

<u>It is in Chapter 1 that Nick explains his relationship with Tom and Daisy Buchanan. This is the piece of text evidence:</u>

<u>"Across the courtesy bay the white palaces of fashionable East Egg glittered along the water, and the history of the summer really begins on the evening I drove over there to have dinner with the Tom Buchanans. Daisy was my second cousin once removed, and I'd known Tom in college. And just after the war I spent two days with them in Chicago."</u>

Tom is a very wealthy, prejudiced man - a brute with a lot of money - who got to marry Daisy, a beautiful yet superficial girl. Daisy is Gatsby's love interest, and Nick will get caught in between their lies and love affairs.

in a scale of 1 to 5, how would you rate your learning in printed modules? 5 is the hidhest. Please explain your answer
nekit [7.7K]

Answer:

I would rate it as a four, because printed modules give you a visual on the work or the assignment that needs to be done, and gives you clear instructions. But for learners who need creative ways to learn, they will think that it is faulty because they need a more engaging way, not a black and white paper to study on or from. but if you are a visual learner, like me for example, you will feel better with a solid guideline with clear instruction in your hand
