A good government work toward the welfare of the society, its citizen protects their rights from infringement, and work toward the economic welfare of the country.

What is the government's duty?

The purpose of government is explained by Jefferson the president U.S, he explains that the government's goal is to work for the welfare of the society as a whole, to preserve/protect the citizen's rights.
