Once this process is complete, the writing and revision would come naturally since you have already planned what you are going to write about.

I believe the correct answer is that the gods lived by different values than humans.
Apparently, according to gods, at least, it is okay to try and murder an infant out of jealousy. Also, it seems to be okay to drive people insane and into committing murders of their own family. The other gods are doing nothing about these horrific events, which must mean they are okay with them.
