The meaning of the sentence int he context of the witch trial is:

1. Intelligent people watching the trial could see that it was not going to work.

The words that support the meaning of the sentence are:

2. The more thinking Part of the Spectators

 • "A Witch Trial at Mount Holly" is a satire by Benjamin Franklin.
 • The story is fake and serves only to criticize faith based on superstitions and prejudice.
 • A man and a woman are accused of witchcraft. To make sure that they are guilty, they are placed in the water to drown.
 • They are not the only ones, however. Even innocent people are in the water in order to make sure that the trial is fair and the method of drowning works.
 • However, no one sinks. And, if everyone swims, that should mean everyone is guilty.
 • Intelligent people who are watching it all happen can see that it is not going to work. The way people are bound and placed in the water will allow all of them to swim.
 • With that, Franklin is basically saying that those responsible for the trial are not intelligent people.

Respective sir,

I am Y/N who loves to read and collect notes from our local public library but as there I could see that the public library is not giving that much satisfaction to the customers who visits the library, due to that condition I would like to request the Mayer to take action towards the public library for much more development or improvement to get more attentions from the customers.

So lastly, if sir could kindly accept my request than I would be very grateful of sir.
