The one that is the best portrayal of how Gertrude is described in this entry is that Gertrude is incredulous of her child's kept grieving and urges him to proceed onward. Shakespeare depicts Hamlet as a man who tumbles from a high status, which makes Hamlet a case of heartbreaking legend.
