a package of 8 eggs costs $1.98 hmmmmmmmm how much is it for just 1 egg from that pack?

well, how many times does 8 go into 1.98? 1.98 ÷ 8 = 0.2475.

the package of 18 eggs, has the same unit price, namely each egg in that package costs the same as each individual egg on the other one.

well, we know the price of each egg on the other is 0.2475, how much will it be for all 18 eggs on that package? 0.2475 * 18.

so, you see, we first get the unit price, from the first package, and use that to get the price of the second package.

It would be A. because to find out how much 18 eggs would cost you would need to figure out by dividing $1.98 and 8.
hope this helped :)
