VOLUME A standard shipping box measures x inches high. The width is 3.5 inches more than the height, and the length is 3 inches
Allushta [10]

Answer:

62.333 inches

Step-by-step explanation:

To find the value of x, or the height of the object, we can set up an equation to solve for the missing variable. This is shown below:

x*3.5*3=561 cubic inches

To solve for X, we divide the 3.5 over to the other side, resulting in x*3 = 187

To get the x by itself, we divide both sides by 3 to remove the 3 from the left side of the equation.

We are left with x = 62.333 inches.

Therefore, the height of the box is 62.333 inches

kozerog [31]

Answer:

The given situation is an example of ultimatum game.

Explanation:

The ultimatum game is a popular experiment. It is widely used in economic experiments. In this game two people are matched randomly, one player as a proposer and one as a responder. They are told they would play a game exactly once. The proposer is given an amount of money and he has the task to split or divide that amount between himself and the responder. When the proposer conveys the decision, the respondent then decides whether to accept or reject it. If the responder accepts, then both earn the amount split per the proposer's suggestion. If responder rejects then both the proposer and responder receive nothing.

For example a player is given a sum of money, $ 20.  He is called proposer. He is told to offer some endowed amount (from $1 to $20) to the other player who is responder. If responder accepts this amount offer they both keep that money but if the responder rejects the offer then both players get nothing.

Can someone help me? thanks!
masha68 [24]
So you know that 1 cubic foot is equal to 80 pounds. So, the first point would be (1,80).
You can find the other points by multiply 80 by a number, and when I did that, I got (2,160) and (3,240) too.

I hope this helps :)
