At first I dreaded going to sixth grade camp. I was sure the food would be poisonous, I would freeze to death in my sleeping bag

, and the other kids in my cabin would never talk to me. But was I wrong! In fact, it was the best week ever! I went horseback riding and participated in a ropes activity with a zip line course. After the course, I climbed to the top of a pole using only ropes and carabiner clips, and then I rappelled off the top. I even made a new best friend. Oh, by the way, the food was delicious. It tasted better than my mom's! (But don't tell her.)
Review the part of the sentence below that is in bold.

I went horseback riding and participated in a ropes activity with a zip line course. After the course, I climbed to the top of a pole using only ropes and carabiner clips, and then I rappelled off the top.

Which aspect of psychological suspense dominates the passage?
xeze [42]
Psychological suspense is usually established through a turning point in the plot, conflict, pace, tragedy, raised stakes, or complications. Consider the tone of the passage and how it reflects pace. Perhaps the passage is emphasizing madness or a conflict that has recently taken place. Or perhaps the main character is under a great deal of psychological stress due to a complication or tragedy. Hope this helps.

How does Roosevelt's use of the big stick metaphor in the paragraph on pages 5-6 impact his speech
Nitella [24]

Answer:

It provides a visual of military might that helps Roosevelt to argue his main point.

Explanation:

The "big stick metaphor" is a visual idea that Roosevelt uses to clarify his foreign policty strategy.

The big stick works as a tool that can work as a threat, but that can also be used to apply force, and Roosevelt's foreign policy strategy was to have foreign countries, especially those in Latin American, comply with his whishes, either peacefully (the threat), or by force.

In hocus pocus what are the song lyrics Sarah Sanderson sings to hypnotize the children of salem?
AlekseyPX

Answer:Lyrics Come little children

I'll take thee away

Into a land of enchantment

Come little children

The time's come to play

Here in my garden of shadows

Follow sweet children

I'll show thee the way

Through all the pain

And the sorrows

Weep not poor children

For life is this way

Murdering beauty and passions

Hush now dear children

It must be this way

Too weary of life

And deceptions

Rest now my children

For soon we'll away

Into the calm and the quiet

Come little children

I'll take thee away

Into a land of enchantment

Come little children

The time's come to play

Here in my garden of shadows
