Increased myelination of the central nervous system. Dexterity with the hands is really just another way of looking at fine motor skill control. As humans age from infant to adult, their brain and it's control of their body is still growing, still developing. Neural connections are constantly being built in the early years of childhood development. Thus a baby who can only hold things with a closed fist moves on to a toddler who can hold things on their open palm or with a closed or only half-closed fist. As the child's brain continues to develop, their fine motor skills grow to. This is why they can hold things in their hands as tools at a later age than when they were a toddler - their brain is capable of communicating to their fine muscle motors much more to allow them to control what's in their hands.

Hello, i am gbola, the dietitian here at shadow general. i read in her ehr that ms. jones has diabetes, and is on medicine for d
GuDViN [60]

Answer: When controlling or managing diabetes, diet so given a major consideration, the amount of calories that should be maped out to each type of food for Ms Jones will be approximately 55-50% carbohydrate,12-20% protein and less than 30% fats.

Some certain types of carbohydrates example;some sugar, honey, beverages, sweets, jam, will be strictly limited in the diet of Ms Jones and can only be eaten as part of meal not as a whole meal inorder prevent rapid increase in blood sugar levels.

Unrefined carbohydrates like beans, fruits and vegetables, unripe plantain, potatoes, whole grain breads, millets, guinea corn with fibre and cereals, will be will be give to her in place of the refined carbohydrates.

Foods with a high soluble fibre content improves glucose tolerance, lower insulin secretion, reduce hyperglycemia and glucosuria and lower lipoprotein levels, the mechanism of action of fibre achieving these results is not entirely understood but there is an improvement in glycemia and lipid regulation. Therefore, foods with a high soluble fibre content will be greatly included in Ms Jones diet regimen.

In the selection of fat for her,the substitution of unsaturated fats is recommended because of the diabetic predisposition to development of arteriosclerosis and vascular lesions.

There is also a great need for adequate water intake to prevent dehydration.

To crown it all, Ms Jones will not go into diabetes coma, develop diabetic ketoacidosis or develop any other complications of diabetes if she strictly monitor her diet, excercise moderately and regularly, keep her urine sugar free and is careful about her insulin administration.

Why has the spread of religions created greater tensions and conflicts in some areas of the world? What might increase the likel
lesantik [10]

Answer:

Why has the spread of religions created greater tensions and conflicts in some areas of the world?

Because religion is a deeply personal issue that can easily become very emotional, and emotions can lead to conflict. Besides, religion has also been used throughout history as a tool of political control, and political struggles have often become religious struggles throughout history.

What might increase the likelihood of conflict between religions?

Simple lack of tolerance among the different religions members. Also, politization of religion. If a political authority like a monarch or a president uses a particular religion to rile up his or her supporters against another religion, the likelihood of conflict becomes very high.

Given an example of a religious conflict

An example of a recent religious conflict occurred in the Caucasus in the 1990s and early 2000s, between the Russia Federation, which is a Christian nation, more specifically, an Eastern-Orthodox nation, and Chechnya, an autonomous Russian region that is of Muslim majority, and that wanted to separate and form its own country.
