In traditional economic system, which type of goods is most often produced?
Svetlanka [38]
Traditional economic system' is such a complex phrase! It really needs to be narrowed down some. Economic activity began with bartering, long before there was money.
Heavy industrial machinery belongs to a manufacturing economy. We live in a so called post-industrial age.
As of now I would say the most frequently produced goods are derived from petroleum. This includes the wide diversity of plastics, the dyes that go into them, the nylon clothing and parts oil produces, medical equipment, and, of course, computers. Petroleum is also used to produce fertilizer for crops, and the fuel to harvest and ship them with. Source(s): Modern times

How did the various groups in colonial society respond to the movement for revolution and how did the war add to the conflict be
Stolb23 [73]

It has become fairly common amongst colonial societies ruled by white European Imperialists. After the first flush of independent countries in South & SE Asia, there was a renewed awakening and zeal in Africa mostly, while 'IndoChina' took a different route to a bloody war (Vietnam) that gradually engulfed the whole of that region.

The revolution to achieve independence had riven the polity, ideologically in the middle, aided & abetted by the two ideological camps - Capitalism (free enterprise) & Communism. The resulting civil wars served as proxy wars for the Cold War enacted in Europe. As an ideal foil this obviated direct confrontation between the Superpowers. That is an aspect the world is thankful for.

But it cost Africa particularly in terms of reduction in populations ('lives lost' is too weak a term to describe it), human misery, politically unsettled condition that pauperised these countries even more, setting the clock back form development by several decades. There are too many case histories for me to take up here. The two groups - Communist against the erstwhile Colonial rulers, the 'free world' forces abetted by them and some splinter groups of neutrals & anarchists; while in the Middle East (apart form the 'Baath' faction in each country) there were various phalangist groups on ethnic-religious-social lines. Even after independence the populations & their animosities (mutual distrust) got congealed along these divisive lines making national unity in each of these countries a near-impossibility. This attitude non-participation didn't allow democracy to take to bud. The problem was because the European Imperialists drew the boundaries across ethnical polities, and it all led to ethnic cleansings later (Rwanda). Recent utterances by the Cambodian president, Hun Sen, blaming the French Imperialists of the past of creating border tensions with his neighbouring countries, sums it up.

MacArthur's Inchon Campaign was successful in the beginning and most likely triggered what? (5 points)
ehidna [41]

Answer:

The Chinese Invasion, and response against the UN's Invasion of Korea.

Explanation:

During WW2 the Soviet Union, and United States Of America did joint invasion of Korea, and after Japan had surrendered, The Small land mass was divided in two parts, the North getting occupied by the Soviets, and the South getting occupied by the Americans. Soon after letting Korea go as a puppet two powerful men, Syngman Rhee and Kim Il Sung had tried to conquer the other. North Korea started off with a lot of benefits from the Soviets, such as weapons and military advisors. Meanwhile due to Rhee's claims to start a first strike on the north, the USA refused to give weapons to South Korea, meanwhile North Korea decided to invade and conquer the south, due to lack of troops and weapons the north soon surrounded the South at Pusan. After the UN sent their troops into the South the North was slowly getting pushed back. Eventually they had launched a surprise invasion at Inchon, and had set up two beach heads, Blue Beach, and Red Beach. Eventually they managed to link the two beach heads up and take Inchon, the news hadn't reached the North for weeks, and when it did, they did a quick retreat to Seoul. Eventually the UN kept on pushing North Korea back and back until they had reach close enough to the Chinese Border. In response China invaded the North for themselves, the numerical advantage had helped them encircle many division, and barely letting them get away. This was catastrophic and the USA had commanded to retreat to the 38th parallel. The UN had barely stopped the Chinese from getting past the 38th, and finally the 1953 Korean armistice was signed, and had formally stopped the attacks from both sides.
