Why... Why does it have to be us Jews? Why can't just the Nazis understand that we weren't the ones that caused their downfall? It is always us, from the beginning when we immigrated here, we are always targeted, attacked, despised, ignored, and now this. Standing in a landfill, I was forced to work for these horrible monsters, and what is my reward? Torture, grief, and despair that's my reward. And I am one of the lucky ones, I watched as I sat there hopeless as many of my kind was murdered. My people were ordered to dig a trench and then killed, slaughtered in the hole that they were forced to make and I could only sit there and watch, I saw my daughter looking at me with despair as one of the Nazis put a gun in her forehead and pulled the trigger. This will be my grave sooner or later, the monsters promised to let us go, but we all know that was a lie, but what can we do? All we can do is pick up our shovel and start digging.
