1) the Asimina Triloba, or pawpaw, has fruit and leaves that are poisonous. This benefits them because then no herbivores will want to eat them.
2) the pawpaw has deep roots so it can stay rooted to rough, loose soil. This benefits them because they can stay stable and firm.
