The character that represents Pygmalion in the play is Professor Henry Higgins, which bet that simply by changing the speech of a Cockney flower seller, he would be able to pass her off as a duchess. The flower seller represents the sculpture that comes to life, and the Professor is Pygmalion, which teach her how to behave as a human or as a duchess.
