Alex73 [517]

Answer:

The correct answer is the option D: Time value of money.

Explanation:

To begin with, due to the fact that Rock Solid Concrete Company does not offer customers a cash discount for early payment then it is quite obvious that their customers will try to wait to pay their bills on the last day because in that way they will be able of having that money availabe for any issues or inconveniences that could occur during those first days, therefore that those customers apparently understand the importance of time value of the money because if the pay early they will lose that cash and would not have it for any urgencies.

Fittoniya [83]

Answer:

Government policies can help stabilize the economy.

Economic condition of any economy can be determined by determining its GDP and level of employment in the economy. Government policies like Fiscal or Monetary Policies can help stabilize the economy. If the economy is passing through recession, the expansionary monetary or fiscal policies can be implemented by the government. Government can reduce the CRR and Repo Rate and relaxes taxation policy so that more amount is left with the people to raise their living standards. On the other hand, at the time of prosperity, contractionary monetary or fiscal policies can be used . CRR and Repo Rate can be raised and tight taxation policy leave the public with less disposable income and thus their demands come down.

Increasing productivity leads to economic growth

Any economy stands on basically four pillars : GDP, Inflation, Employment and National Income.

As the productivity improves, the GDP of the economy grows. For higher level of production higher level of worker participation is required leading to higher level of employment. It will lead to higher supply of commodities and thus the price and inflation can be controlled. Higher level of employment also leads to higher level of National Income. Thus overall, the economic growth takes place.

Thus we can say that Increasing productivity leads to economic growth.

Brrunno [24]

Answer: A. incorrect because part of each payment is to principal and to interest. Therefore, only a portion of the payment goes to interest, so the full amount should not be included when computing the rate of interest paid.

Explanation:

When paying back a loan, there are two components to the periodic interest payment. The first component is the interest payment. This is the payment to compensate the borrower for loaning out the money and is based on the interest rate and the principal left to be repaid.

The second component goes towards repaying the principal of the loan which in this case is $10,000. When computing the periodic interest rate therefore, the entire amount paid per period should not be used as it would inflate the interest rate.
