History

avanturin [10]3 years ago

Answer:

While the threat was imminent and the German Jews knew that they would be in danger, they decided to stay. The reasons to why most stayed will never be known, though there are a few reasons to why a few stayed. The first being that they did not believe there was a real threat. Another being that some Jews were anchored in Germany due to their business or family. Some believed that it would only be a few week take curfew at most and decided to stay with the mentality that it would not get as bad as it did.

Some were too young and others were too old. Though the only certain thing about it was the aftermath. Regardless of their reasoning to stay, it obviously left a much larger impact than what any of them could have imagined.
