  • Well considering they knew they were going against a large army with also advanced technology, they needed more troops.
  • Also then everyone wanted to stay with their families and no-one actually wanted to leave so they started a draft were they gathered everyone (particularly males) to fight.
  • After they drafted they had a larger army which was what they wanted.
  • They then went on with the fact of advancing their technology

The effects of the French and Indian War for all parties involved were huge. The British Empire, having won the war, had a heavy expansion of British Territory Claim in the New World. However, it did leave them in massive debt. As for the French, having lost, they also were banished from the New World. They handed their claimed territory all over to the British Empire, along with Canada also. They did manage to save a few islands though. Lastly, the Native Americans were given the bad end of the stick. The tribes that had been at aid for the French were cut off from their supplies and forced the tribes to compel to the new laws of the British Empire.
