Hello there,
Required amount of money= $75
Savings= $32
Needed= $75 - $32
             = $43
Earnings/ hr= $12
The highest possible number, nearest to $43 is $48
So 12 x 4 = 48
Thus, Ron needs to work for 4 hrs to have enough for the trip

Hope this helps :))

An alloy that is 30% silver is mixed with 200 g of a
Alecsey [184]

Answer:

The answer is 466\frac{2}{3}\,g

Step-by-step explanation:

Let,

Amount of alloy with 30% silver = x g

Given,

Amount of alloy with 10% silver = 200 g

So, Total Amount of alloy with 24% silver = (x+200) g

Now,

x*0.30+200*0.10=(x+200)*0.24\\=>0.30x+20=0.24x+48\\=>0.06x=28\\x=466\frac{2}{3}\,g=466.67\,g

Hope you have understood this....
