Vinil7 [7]

Answer: Like the activists of the Civil Rights Movement, their goal was complete racial equality. The main difference between the two movements was that supporters of Black Power were prepared to use violent methods to achieve these goals. Proponents of the Black Power Movement did not constitute a homogenous group. Malcolm X then served as the public face of the organization for a dozen years, where he advocated for Black empowerment, Black supremacy, and the separation of black and white Americans, and publicly criticized the mainstream civil rights movement for its emphasis on nonviolence and racial integration.

What was the Soviet response to the Western alliance known as NATO?
RUDIKE [14]

The best answer is B.

The Warsaw pact is the name commonly given to the treaty between Albania, Bulgaria, Czechoslovakia, East Germany, Hungary, Poland, Romania and the Soviet Union which was signed in Poland in 1955 and was officially called The Treaty of friendship, Co-operation and Mutual Assistance. It was called the Warsaw pact because it was signed in Warsaw.

It was a response to the formation (by western allies) of  the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO). West Germany was allowed to join NATO and was allowed to re- militarize and thus the Soviets saw this as a potential threat.
