Answer:

To study the processes by which past behaviour influences future behaviour, participants were led to believe that without being aware of it, they had expressed either support for or opposition to the institution of comprehensive exams. Judgment and response time data suggested that participants’ perceptions of their past behaviour often influenced their decisions to repeat the behaviour. This influence was partly the result of cognitive activity that influenced participants’ cognitions about specific behavioural consequences and the attitude they based on these cognitions. More generally, however, feedback about past behaviour had a direct effect on participants’ attitudes and ultimate behavioural decisions that were independent of the outcome-specific cognitions. Results are discussed in terms of their implications for biased scanning of memory, dissonance reduction, self-perception, and the use of behaviour as a heuristic.

What does the phrase "the edge of the sea concerned / with itself" most strongly
exis [7]

Answer:

The phrase "the edge of the sea concerned / with itself" most strongly  suggests:

A) The sea continues to break on the shore despite Icarus's drowning.

Explanation:

"Landscape with the Fall of Icarus", by William Carlos Williams, is a poem that describes a painting  by Pieter Brueghel. The painting depicts the mythological character Icarus falling from the sky into the ocean as his wax wings are melted by the sun. The poem and the painting convey the same idea that the world goes on without consideration for the suffering of a being. Not one person, one thing, was disturbed by Icarus's fall. As the lines say, "the edge of the sea concerned / with itself", meaning the ocean itself is not disturbed. Icarus has just fallen inside it, but the sea continues to break on the shore as if nothing has happened, as if no one had died.

Which sentence is written correctly?
Savatey [412]

Hey!

Hope this helps...

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Before I state the answer, we have to find which answer is NOT correct.
We can see that A and C, are incorrect because they say the word "except their reward" which is talking about excluding something, not "accept their reward" which it gathering or agreeing to something.
We also see that B is incorrect because when it says "Accept for Bill," this just doesn't even make sense because the word "accept" is gathering or agreeing to something.
So...
The correct answer is:
D.) Except for Bill, all of the players were present to accept their reward...
