The Annapolis Convention was called to discuss issues related to interstate trade. Only 5 states were represented at the convention. It basically allowed the states to take part in deciding the process of trade and commerce for the US. How the states can regulate trades and be in harmony with one another and be part of the overall process of drafting interstate trade. Organized due to a suggestion by James Madison, this was a platform for all states to come together and discuss interstate trade, to boost the economy. However, there was a low attendance as only 5 states were represented.

How might Athenian democracy be considered the root of modern democratic governments?
Anestetic [448]

It was one of the first democratic governments in recorded history. Letting people vote on leaders was revolutionary at the time and did lead to things like the roman republic, the american revolution, and the french revolution. It lead to a lot of time being spent on the tragedy of being human or self aware. Which of course lead to things like maybe i deserve to have a say in the government.

Later when the Romans took over they looked at all the Greeks stuff and thought huh? maybe this is a good idea. And the rest of course is history.

Hope this helps

Do you believe that most Americans would be willing
uranmaximum [27]

Answer:

Yes, most definitely. Food is a necessity for everyone, not just Americans, and most if not all people would conserve it if the circumstance needed them to. And energy? For us being Americans, we feel as though we need energy, it fuels every aspect of our everyday lives in a way, so yes. I sure would make sacrifices for both.
