that Berlin would be divided into 4 parts. Three of the four were

parts east Germany (Russian) and western Germany (western  nations). Eventually, the Berlin Wall was built and the two sides

faced off at the border until 1989 when it fell. <u>The Cold War was </u>

<u>not a shooting war, but a war of threats and words.</u>
