Henry the VIII made many changes during his rule. Mainly he is known for separating the English Church from the pope during the English Reformation, where England became a protestant rather than catholic. In England this meant many people had to choose between allegience to their King or their Religion. In addition many people began to question the church, politics and other established systems.
