Which of the following best describes why the Farmers’ Alliances formed the Populist Party?
Deffense [45]

Answer:

The Farmers’ Alliances were not successful in influencing national farm policy in favor of farmers and needed to form a national political party as a result.

Explanation:

The Farmers’ Alliances were formed in 1875. in hopes to improve the economic conditions of agrarian workers.

The movement was made out of a few separate organizations -

 • whites on the South had the National Farmers' Alliance and Industrial Union
 • in the Midwest, there was the National Farmers' Alliance for both white and black farmers
 • African Americans on the South had their own Colored Farmers' National Alliance and Cooperative Union

As the economic movement, this Alliance didn't have much success. It wasn't united or influential and didn't have much of a political impact.

That is why, finally, Alliance decided to turn into the political movement with its own political candidate. In the early 1890s, Alliance formed the Populist (People's) Party which fought for the ideas of the Alliance, but with the political background and force.

While actually rare, Southerners lived in fear of
sukhopar [10]

Answer:

slave revolts!

Explanation:

Hello!

Slave owners lived in constant fear of slave revolts, and justly so. The average holding varied between four and six slaves, and at the peak of slavery in the US slaves occupied more than 20% of the population. If slaves were to get fed up with their horrible situation they might be able to overpower their masters and begin freeing slaves from other plantations. These fears were further amplified by the Hattian Rebellion in 1791 in which the local slaves brutally killed 75,000 French citizens, gaining their freedom in the process. Many in the United States feared that a similar situation would unfold if their slaves rebelled en masse.

Hope This Helps!

How did the principles of republicanism lead to hostilities between the americans and british?
anyanavicka [17]
The principles of republicanism initiate hostilities between the Americans and British. One of the ideas of republicanism is the right of representation in government. For each of the colonies had a legislature, attending as the only representation the Americans had since they had no Member of Congress. England commenced passing laws like the Stamp Act that did not go over local Colonial Legislatures.
