Cross-cultural interactions resulted in the diffusion of technology because of political agreements and interactions. Countries wanted to be the main exporter of goods in trades. Cross-cultural exchanges were fostered by the intensification of existing or the creation of new networks of communication and trade. Increased cross-cultral interactions also had resulted in the diffusion of technological and scientific traditions.
